Teen Decision is seeking a part-time speaker. The Teen Decision program is invited into public and private school health classes (usually during their human sexuality unit) to teach healthy relationships, with abstinence as a key strategy. We speak to thousands of middle and high school students every year. We seek to prevent unwanted pregnancy, STDs and unhealthy/abusive dating relationships.
This position is for someone wanting very part-time work, who can be available during school hours. We know the schedule months in advance. We pay $24-27 per hour depending on qualifications, and we reimburse driving expenses. You will be trained by an experienced educator in the classroom. Our work is during the school year, so you have holidays and summers off! Effective communication skills are required, plus a fair amount of energy and an ability to connect with teens. You must have a valid driver’s license, and live close to DuPage County, which is central to the three-county area we reach.
