Teen Decision is seeking part-time speakers.  The Teen Decision program is invited into public and private school health classes (usually during their human sexuality unit) to teach healthy relationships, with abstinence as a key strategy. We speak to over 4,000 middle and high school students every year. We seek to prevent unwanted pregnancy, STDs and unhealthy/abusive dating relationships. This would be a great job for someone passionate about helping teens, wanting part-time work, who can be available during school hours. We know the schedule months in advance. You could be speaking as little as 2 or as much as 5 days in a week, anywhere from 2 to 6 hours per day. We pay $24-27 per hour depending on qualifications, and we do reimburse driving expenses. Educators work during the school year, so you have holidays and summers off! Effective communication skills are required, plus a fair amount of energy and an ability to connect with teens. There is room for advancement for one of the speakers, as the Director has plans to transition away from her role over the next several years.  If interested, please contact Tori at tori@teendecision.org.
